Inspector Favorites (Bib Gourmand) for Good Value Contest

join the MICHELIN GUIDE Bib Gourmand San Francisco contestCome here each day, Monday, Oct. 5 through Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, to get a clue from the Michelin inspectors that will help you identify one of the Bib Gourmand restaurants in San Francisco. A Bib Gourmand rating is given by the inspectors for a restaurant they deem to be a good value.

Email us your Bib Gourmand restaurant guess between 8am and 5pm (Pacific Time) and one lucky winner will receive a free copy of the 2010 MICHELIN Guide San Francisco. On Friday, after 5pm, there will also be a grand drawing for a $200 gift card for use at a Michelin-designated Bib Gourmand restaurant.

Though you won't find bear on this French country menu, dining at this classic spot puts you on the site of the historic California settlers' Bear Flag Revolt against Mexican rule. Locals love the owners' second restaurant, a more casual cafe, which shares half a name with the original.
